In 2006 we bought our first 1000 SSD machine for cleaning sheep’s casing, and after very good user experience with this machine, we bought another one in 2017.
The sheep season in Norway is reasonably concentrated, where mostly everything comes to slaughter within 10 weeks, which has meant that the machine has previously been out of use approx. 40 weeks a year.
The SSD machines, however, have proved to fit well also to the cleaning of hog casings, by only changing the settings, we can now use the machines all year round.
So now we deliver good quality on both sheep and hog casing!
